Program of self-preparation of students to the theme:
1). To learn basic criteria and indexes of psychomotor development of children of a different age.
2). To be able to estimate psychomotor development of child of 1th life and children of pre-preschool age.
3). To pay attention to organization of the mode of day and basis of neuropsychical education of children of early age (development of emotions, aesthetically beautiful, moral and mental education).

Note: At mastering of theme after the traditional system of marks are appropriated to the student: «5» — 20 points, «4» — 16 points, «3» - 12 points, «2» - 0 points.
Maximal amount of marks for current educational activity of student is 120.
A student is admitted to the final module control in the case of implementation of requirements of tutorial and in time, if on current educational activity he collected not less than 72 marks (12 х 6).
The final module control is set off to the student, if he collected not less than 50 points from 80 points.
Module 2. Anatomic and physiologic features, method of examinations and semiotics of children’s diseases.
Semantic module 4. Nervous system in children
Concrete aims:
- To know the anatomic and physiologic features of the nervous system in children of a different age; -- To be able to choose anamnesis’ information about presence in child defeats of central and peripheral nervous system;
- To be able to explore and estimate the state of the nervous system in children of a different age
- To interpret the most informing signs of defeat of the nervous system at objective and laboratory examination of patient.
Theme 1. Anatomic and physiologic features, methods of examination, semiotics of the nervous system in children.
Theme of practical training: Method of clinical neurological examination of children. Semiotics of basic nervous diseases in children (hydrocephaly, meningitis, encephalitis, cerebral palsy and other). Features of liquor in children and semiotics of its changes at pathology (at purulent and serous meningitis, hydrocephaly and other). Nursing of children with pathology of nervous system.
Place: an educational room in the pediatric neurological department.
Professional orientation of students: Increasing of neurological pathology in children of different age is marked in recent years. The nervous system of child has morphological and functional features, without taking into account them examination results and clinical diagnosis cannot be correct. These actions are especially important for the beginning treatment in time.
