Control forms

Control forms and system of evaluation are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the program of discipline and Instruction about the system of evaluation of educational activity of students at the credit-module system of organization of educational process, ratified by MH of Ukraine (2005)

Estimation for the module is determined as sum of estimations of current educational activity (in points) and estimation of final module control (in points), which is proposed at the evaluation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in accordance with lists certain by the program of discipline.

Maximal amount of points, that is appropriated to the students at mastering of each to the module (test credit) - 200, in that number for current educational activity -120 points (60%), as a result of final module control — 80 points (40%).

The current control is carried out every practical training according to concrete aims from every theme. At the evaluation of educational activity of students it is necessary to give advantage to the standardized methods of control: to testing structured writing works, structured on procedure of control of practical skills in terms which are close to the real.

Evaluation of current educational activity:

Weight of every theme within the limits of one module is to be identical, but can be different for different modules of one discipline and is determined by the amount of themes in the module. The evaluation of current educational activity of students is described in an executable educational code from discipline

At mastering of every theme of the module for current educational activity estimations on a “4” traditional scale are proposed to the student, which are then converted in points depending on the amount of themes in the module. Such system of converting of the traditional system of estimation in marks was applied in the program:

A maximal amount which can be collected by a student at the study of the module equals 120 points. It is calculated by the increase of amount of points which answer mark «5», on the amount of themes in the module with addition of points for individual independent work.

The least of points, which can be collected by a student at the study of the module, is calculated by the multiply amount of points which answer mark «3», on the amount of themes in the module.

Evaluation of individual independent work of students (individual tasks):

The amount of marks for different types of individual independent work of student (IWS) depends on its volume and meaningfulness, but not more than 10-12 points. These points are added to the sum of the points collected by a student for current educational activity.

Evaluation of independent work:

The evaluation of independent work of students, which is foreseen in a theme next to audience work, is carried out during the current control of theme on the proper audience training.

The evaluation of themes which students study only on independent work and do not study in auditory lessons is controlled at the final module control.

Final module control:

The final module control is carried out after completion of study of all themes of the module on the last control training from the module.

Before the final control students, which executed all types of works, foreseen by tutorial, are assumed, and at trained collected the module amount of points, not less than minimum.

The form of conducting of final module control is to be standardized and include the control of theoretical and practical preparation. The concrete forms of final module control from physiology are determined in an executable educational code.

The maximal amount of marks of final module control is evened 80.

The final module control is considered made, if a student collected not less than 50 marks.

Estimation on discipline:

Estimation on propedeutics of pediatrics is proposed only to the students which all modules from discipline are reckoned to.

Estimation from discipline is proposed as middle from estimations for the modules, on which the structured educational discipline.

Encouraging points in decision of Scientific Advice can be added to the amount of points from discipline to the students which have the scientific publications or took prize seats for participation in Olympiad from discipline.

Objectivity of evaluation of educational activity of students is to be checked up by statistical methods (coefficient of correlation between current progress and results of final module control).
