Program of self-preparation of students to the theme:
1. To study basic and additional information sources accordant to the theme of training.
2. To be able to conduct a method calculations of daily volume of feed and to make daily ration.
3. To know the general rules of technique of breast feeding of children.
4. To be able to conduct correction of feeding, in good time to appoint weaning to the children of the first year of life.
Semantic module 15. Artificial feeding of children.
Concrete aims:
• To explain definition of the artificial feeding of children, classification of milk formulas.
• To collect anamnesis of feeding of child of breast age and estimate it.
• To expect daily volume of meal to the child, who is on artificial feeding depending on age.
• To make one-day menu for the child of breast age, who is on artificial feeding.
• To organize the correct artificial feeding, give estimation of its efficiency.
• To conduct correction of feed to the child on artificial feeding.
Theme 3. Artificial feeding of children.
Theme 4. Artificial feeding of children after introduction of weaning.
Theme of practical training: Artificial feeding of children. Classification and description of milk formulas for the artificial feeding of children. Guarantee cow’s milk. Technique of the artificial feeding and criteria of estimation of its efficiency. Weaning and correction of feed at the artificial feeding. Daily necessity of child in proteins, fats, carbohydrates and calories at the artificial feeding.
Place: an educational room in the department for breast children.
Professional orientation of students:
The rational feed in children’s age allows considerably to improve the indexes of psychomotor and physical development of child, reduce morbidity and death rate of children, promotes considerable success in education of healthy, harmonic young generation.
Immunological reactivity of organism of child goes down as a result of violation of feeding of children.
