Данное пособие предназначено для первого и второго года обучения в негуманитарных вузах. Пособие может быть также использовано лицами, самостоятельно работающими над совершенствованием знания английского языка. Данное учебное пособие- пособие коммуникативной грамматики. Наши задачи ограничены, однако знания именно грамматики формирует тот костяк, без которого практическое владение иностранным языком невозможно. Целевой установкой является практическое владение устной речью. В книге даны упражнения условно-речевого, речевого характера. Преподаватель, работающий с данным пособием, может определять сам порядок выполнения упражнений в зависимости от цели занятия. Данные упражнения являются далеко не исчерпывающими, и поэтому на занятиях преподаватель должен добавлять к ним другие упражнения в виде раздаточного материала.

Вступительные тексты и диалоги иллюстрируют употребление грамматического минимума, затем следуют упражнения на отработку утвердительных, отрицательных и вопросительных предложений и в конце каждого раздела даются речевые упражнения для разговорной практики.

Автор ждет критических замечаний, советов и предложений и заранее благодарен тем, кто возьмет на себя такой труд.
