1. Watch the film “Daddy Long Legs” (1955) directed by Jean Negulesco. Discuss the film and your impressions of it. Say
what differences there exist between the plot of the book and the script of the film, and which variant you like best;
if the actors suit fine to their roles, or you imagined the characters of the novel in some other way;
if the authors of the film managed to reveal in it the atmosphere of the book;
how you’d put the novel to the screen if you were a film director, and what details you’d pay special attention for.
2. Read Jean Webster’s novel“Dear Enemy” which is the sequel to “Daddy Long Legs”and make a report on this book.
