Family

brother/sister
ancestors = forefathers
grandparents: a grandfather = granddad = grandpa,

Relatives
a relation = a relative: a near/distant relative

a relative on one’s father’s/mother’s side
a first/second/middle name,
a family name = a surname = a last name
a patronymic
a full/short name, e.g. My name is Edward, Ned
for short.
