9. Составьте диалоги по образцу.

a) – I’d like to buy a bicycle, (piano, skates, car, motorcycle)

– Can you ride? (drive, play chess, skate, ski...)

– Yes, I can.

b)May I have this pencil? (pen, book, toothbrush, soap, comb, cup, glass, plate, dictionary)

– Yes, you may. (No, you can’t)

c) – Must I read this text? (get up, bring smth, leave for, takeaway, call smb., learn by heart, write, translate, go away, clean, wash)

– Yes, you must. (No, you needn’t)

10. Объясните, что означают данные ниже объявления.

Example 1:

– What does the sign “No Smoking” mean?

– It means that you can’t smoke here.

1. What does the sign “No Swimming” mean? 2. What does the sign “Do not Walk on the Grass” mean? 3. What does the sign “No Parking” mean? 4. What does the sign “Private” mean?

Example 2:

Example 2:

– Was your brother able to do his homework himself?

No, he wasn’t. It was too difficult for him.

13. Скажите о своих намерениях. Используйте глагол might в значении предположения.
