Let me introduce myself

Hello, everyone! I am Amhony George Leighton Antony is my first or Christian name (it is Tony for short); George is my middle or second name, and Leighton is my sumame or family name. I live with my parents in East Anglia. My home address is: 43 et Road, Norwich NE/TE/UK. My telephone number is 20355. I was born on the second of August in Norwich By the way my star sigh is Leo my lucky day is Tuesday and my lucky number is seven. My parents have two children besides me, so I have an elder brother and an elder sister. They call me «a spoilt child» because I am the youngest in the family.

My brother Charles is a lawyer. He is married to a nice woman. They live in London where they rent a flat. He is 25 now and by the age of 40 he is going to have a brilliant carrier to earn a lot of money to buy a cottage and a Mercedes and to have at least two children. My sister Diana 21 is carning her Bachelor s degree in arts (B.A.) in Oxford. She lives in a hall of residence there and comes to visit us twice a y car at Christmas and during the summer vacation. I know nothing about her plans for the future.

I am eighteen (years old). I think I m rather tall five feet eleven inches. I weigh 160 pounds. I have blue eyes and dark brown hair no beard or moustache, of course. I am athletic and very fond of sports football and safling. I like pop music. My favourite singer is Elton John and I can lister to the group «Queen» from morning till night. Though I am not keen on classical music. I sometimes enjoy going to the opera. But I prefer reading a good book to watching soap-operas on collection TV. I have got a small collection of good books at home, so you may say that book collecting is my hobby.

I have lot of friends, both boys and girls, but I don t have a steady girl-friend. If you have a date with a girl, you are supposed to take her out to the cinema, you should treat her to an ice-cream and a coke, and you must see her home It s not my idea of spending free time. My friends and I enjoy taking long country walks or boat-trips at week-ends. You must know that the region of East Anglia is famous for its beautiful countryside and natural recreational facilities.

I m sorry to say, but I ll have to part with some of my friends this year. We are school-leavers and very few of my friends are going to stay in Norwich. Most of them will sooner or later leave for London or other big cities in search of work, luck and excitement. As for me, I plan to go on with my study at the University of East Anglia. School of Computing Studies and Accountancy, of School of Economic and Social Studies.

As soon as I know the results of my A-level exam, I ll send an application for admission to the University. I hope I ll be admitted , I would like to become a student.
