Surface representation style: The elements type surface can be graphically
represented using different new styles.
Changing the parameter Error Style GSURF in the file
whitestar.ini it is possible to have the following
representations:
0 and 1: it is the default as per the previous versions: a 3D vector that starts from the nominal point plus a line joining nominal point and center probe point.
10: It is a line joining the nominal point with the measured point with a cross on the measured point.
11: it is a sphere in the measured point tangent to the nominal point with minimum diameter defined as the size of the “Measured Point” in the “Option” panel.
12: it is a sphere in the nominal point tangent to the measured point with minimum diameter defined as the size of the “Measured Point” in the “Option” panel.

13: it a double pyramid with the vertex set on the measured point and maximum high as per the “Measured Point” in the “Option” panel.
The white lines are used to identify the 20% of the tolerance band.
Single Surface Point Deviation: by CTRL+CLICK in a surface point it is possible to see the single deviation with a lighter representation.
Full Surface Deviation: selection the menu entry “Show Points Devition” it is possible to see the 3D deviation of all the surface points.

Working Plane representation: it is now shown the CMM working plane.
The view can be activated on “Option” panel.
In the whitestar.ini configuration file it is possible to set the high the and extra additional size of the working plane, the parameters are:
Base Plane Z thickness
Base Plane extra X
In order to guarantee the correct positioning of the model in the virtual CMM model, it is necessary to set the Z offset between the working plane and the virtual home position.
This parameter is calculated with the following method.
Open the control Panel and assign it to a variable called ZSize the size of the virtual CMM volume in the panel “Machine”.
RUN ARCOCAD, declare a nominal probe with the correct values and make it active.
Touch a point of the real working plane.
Assign to a variable called ZPoint the Z value of the measured pint
Calculate the value ZDistance = ZPoint - ZSize
Open Whitestar.ini configuration file
Write in the parameter “Ram to Base Plane distance” the value ZDistance.
Ram graphical representation: The graphical representation of the ram it is now automatically adjusted according the sensor mount set in the control panel
Languages: it has been unified the handling of the language in a common translation tool.

Runner: the Runner component has been optimized in order to reduce memory consumption while running programs and reducing the time while loading project.
Data Load time: the internal mechanism to load the data in ARCO it has been optimized to support large data volume.
The positive effects are available in both ADB and project loading.
Numerical Filters: Gaussian numerical filters have been implemented for circle, cylinder and plane features.
The system let the user create new features based on filtered data as well as overwrite of features previously measured.
The function is located in the “Construct” element menu.

Form Error: the form error printout migrates to the new ARCOCAD Reporter. New templates are now distributed with several new functions.
Notes on Print Out: it is now possible, in the form error print out, to add notes that will be reported in the printout.
Run of Form Error Printout: selecting the option “Add Dmis” in the form error dialog, it is now possible to create an instruction that allows to execute the printout while running programs.

Selecting the option “Print PDF” the report it is automatically saved in a PDF format in the report folder, the file format name is:

Form Error Preview: clicking in “Preview” it is possible to see the print preview.
Form Error Templates: the templates has been reviewed for the form error, system language it is automatically adapted and color reference respect the options set in ARCO.
Form Error Representation: based on the number of points in the element, the graphical representation is different: a more details view when few points are measured a simpler view with large data.

Best Fit on Profiles: the best fit engine for profiles has been optimized in order to handle large data.
Scanning points data: while scanning elements the graphical representation changes from details to simple according the number of data points.
Simulator Multiplier: it is now possible to use a speed multiplier when represetning the graphical simulator.
The parameter it is set in the “option” panel.
Locating the CAD model with simulator: it is now possible to locate the CAD model in the virtual model to match the real part position
while measure.
By running the function it is then necessary to click on one or more points in the model and the none point in the work plane: the system calculate the plane passing throw the points on the model and fir it on the work plane.

Once locate the model on the plane, using the button “Rotation” it is possible to refine the position.
Dmis function int(): the int() function has been added.
Curve reconstruction view: the default view has been oriented according the curve plane.
Orthographic or Prospecting view: the type of visualization set while exit from ARCO stays available for the further working sessions.
Curve Reconstruction panel: it is now possible to apply multi selection of curve when reconstructing as a group.
Turbine Blade Analisys: An analysis package for turbine foils has been integrated in Arcocad. The package is optional and the parameters of the foils that are calculated are:
