Preface
The book entitled 3D Printing in Pharmaceutics: Innovations and Applications aims
to present various experimental outbreaks on the novel methodologies to develop
pharmaceutical products by 3D printing, especially for the drug delivery process.
The purpose of this book is to emphasize the various types of 3D printing techniques,
such as materials extrusion, vat polymerization, binder jetting, inkjet, and associated
hybrid processes for customized drugs, medicine, and biomedical utilities, formation
of shape, size, and dosage tailored medicines, etc. This book is designed to cover the
signicant contribution of the research fraternity, across the world, to different classes
of pharmaceutical products by 3D printing and end applications. This book is a key
source for gathering knowledge about drug delivery processes, 3D printing processes,
and mechanisms for the sustainable development of drug delivery systems. This book
