My friend.
Friendship means a lot in our life. A devoted reliable friend can help you at the most difficult moments of your life. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
My best friend’s name is Nick. We made friends long ago. We are in the same form and of the same age. He is a tall strong boy. He has thick dark hair, large brown eyes and a straight nose. His eyes give a special charm to his face. He goes in for swimming and basketball, so he has a good figure.
I like everything about him: his looks, his manners, his ability to express his mind, his honesty, his cheerful mood. I can rely on him in any situation. He never lets people down.
He is intelligent and well-read. He is interested in Maths, History and English. No wonder he does well at school and attends his English classes with pleasure.
We have much in common, common interests and tastes, so we like to spend our free time together. We often watch video or listen to music. Nick has a good ear for music and plays the guitar well. We like to discuss films, television programmes and books. He knows a lot and it is interesting to talk to him. We also enjoy walking in any season and in any weather. I am proud of my friend.
