Theme: Employment in a policlinic.

I. Actuality of theme:

Most patients (85-90%) with different diseases first apply in a policlinic, where their medical treatment begins. Work of doctor on the surgical reception is characterized by features, which largely determine not only quality of medical-diagnostic help to the out-patients but also a lot of performance indicators of surgical permanent establishment. Plenitude of inspection in the policlinic terms of patient, which the necessary planned making, their selection on stationary medical treatment, timely exposure and hospitalization of patients healthy with the sharp diseases of organs of abdominal region and traumas, testifies about it. In addition, after excerption of patient from permanent establishment in a policlinic subsequent medical treatment and rehabilitation is conducted, that largely determines duration of temporal and firm disabled.

During the short interval of time in intercourse of surgeon with a patient in a surgical cabinet it is necessary to estimate data of anamnesis and different methods of inspection, to diagnose and define the plan of medical treatment. Work in a policlinic needs high theoretical preparation, ability rationally to connect the surgical methods of medical treatment with physical therapies, sanatorium, by medical physical education. In addition, the surgeon of policlinic must conduct the health centre system of population, to treat patients on house, to conduct the planned prophylaxis, sanitary-educational and health work.

All it requires from the surgeon of the proper knowledge and experience not only in industry of surgery, but also contiguous specialities.
