Ход урока
Организационный момент (2 мин)
- Good morning children! I’m glad to see you today.
- Good morning teacher. Glad to see you too.
- Thank you, sit down please. How are you children?
- Thank you, we are fine.
- Very good. And who is in duty today?
- I’m on duty today.
- Who is absent from your group?
- Katya Lasyeva is absent.
- What is the date today?
- Today is the 8th of October.
- What is the day of the week?
- Today is Tuesday.
- Thank you. Sit down please.
2. Ознакомление с лексическим материалом урока (7 мин)
- Now let’s go down to work. Look at the blackboard and write down new words into your dictionaries. (baby, blond(e), cute, pigtail, plump, pretty, scar, slim, ugly, in his/her late/early thirties, of medium height). You are to learn these words and use them actively. Now repeat them after me…

3. Ознакомительное чтение – диалог; техника чтения вслух (5 мин)
-Now you are to read and translate the dialog (ex. 3 p. 28) aloud for closer understanding. We’ll do it in parts.
4. Составление диалога на основе прочитанного: описание внешности и характера (8 мин)
- Now, children, your task is to make up your own dialogs based on what you have read. Divide into pairs please.
- Now act out your dialogs please.
-What does your mum look like?
- She is a tall, middle-aged woman with long, brown hair.
- What is she like?
- She is kind and polite.
5. Аудирование с выборочным пониманием заданной информации (8мин)
- Look at the pictures in your student’s books. You will hear three texts, describing these pictures. Choose what description suits better to each picture.

6. Упражнение на изучение причастий –ed/-ing (8 мин)
-Now let’s go down to our grammar material. Today we’ll focus on the usage of Participle I,II. Look at these two examples: It is an exciting class – We are excited.
Remember that we use Participle I –ing to describe smth (the class is exciting), and we use the past participle –ed to describe how we feel about smth (we are excited). Now look at the ex 4 p 28, go through sentences 1-5 and fill in the blanks with Participle I or II.
Now let’s check your answers.

5 – disappointed
