Read and translate the text into Russian.

Concern about the way people are damaging the environment is not new. Pollution is a consequence of bad technology used. Hundreds tons of harmful substances are discharged every year due to malfunctioning of gas-and-dust trapping machinery. It is becoming harder and harder to breathe in city. Smog clamps down on the city, especially when weather conditions are bad.

Paradoxically enough, many industrial enterprises ignore recycling technologies intended to considerably reduce environment pollution. Much is done in many countries for bringing up a man as ecologically educated individual, a true friend of nature. The higher educational establishments train specialists in all major areas of environment problems, which make it possible to enrich the knowledge of all specialists. The construction, modernization or enlargement of industrial enterprises can be banned in case it violates the law of nature conservation.

We not only have a responsibility to protect the environment but to attempt to improve the world we live in through technology development. Scientists should contribute to society in a beneficial way, to take responsibility for what they create.
