Executive Summary
Young league Pakistan is currently running 12 primary, elementary and high schools in Multan, Pakistan since 1985. Now YLP plans to establish a degree girl’s college to provide subsidized quality intermediate, graduate, master and professional level education for girls who hail from the poorest sections of the society in Pakistan, also providing the needy persons with jobs facility in that college. Union Women College, a residential charity college for girls, will establish in the lesson of popular story Union is Strength and the name of ex. Union College, Kutchery Road Multan, Pakistan.
UGC will be one of the most important decisions and long-term investments a parent will ever make. UGC believe that parents can give a child few things more valuable or enduring than a good education.
At Union College our aim is to inspire girls to become extraordinary women. Our students are encouraged to become lifelong learners, active participants and resilient, accomplished and confident contributors. Union College will be an academic college establish by young league Pakistan, with a consistently fine record of achievement. It will be also a place where girls are taught to value spirituality, hard work, friendship, compassion, integrity, good humor, self-discipline, loyalty and community service.
Union Women College project will serve all needy people of District Multan, Pakistan. Project goal is to alleviate illiteracy and unemployment with quality education and training through a network of service agencies and programs that serve our target population groups.
Approximately 20% of Multan District residents qualify for assistance from YLP. Our client base is low-income people, mainly families, who need help to provide on the door step.
It is estimated that the number of girls who need services from YLP will increase during the next five years. Multan District is growing and a number of new families are entering the area to look for education and employment.
