Students Scholarships
Internal Scholarship
Each year the administration of Union Women College will be award a number of scholarships and bursaries. Scholarships are awarded on academic merit and/or extra circular ability, dependent on the scholarship being applied for. Scholarships will award on the basis of results of academic testing and/or an extra circular. Bursaries are awarded to girls whose parents may be unable, for financial reasons, to send or continue to send their daughter to Union Women College. Bursaries are awarded after an application process and interview with the Principal. There are number of scholarships available to assist students with their educational expenses on need and merit basis. Details are under:
Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) Scholarships
PEEF having its office at Link Wahdat Road Multan is an initiative of the Government of Punjab with the objective of providing Scholarships/monetary assistance to talented and needy students.
Pakistan Engineering Congress Scholarship
Pakistan Engineering Congress awards 2 Scholarships every year to the students of this College studying in BSc Electrical Engineering.
Killa Gift Scholarship
The Killa Gift Fund Trust awards scholarships to the students who or whose parents own agricultural land in Faisalabad District.
Internal Merit District scholarship
This is a merit based scholarship offered by the District Education Officers of the concerned Districts from where a student has obtained his/her last educational certificate/degree.
Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal
Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal provides funding for the payment of College and Hostel dues to the meritorious and needy students to meet their educational expenses
Hijri/Quaid-e-Azam Scholarship
Hijri/Quaid-e-Azam Scholarship is offered by the concerned Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education to the talented students admitted to 1st Year FA/FSc or BA/BSc (Hons.) programs.
Outreach
Various activities by UGC Societies and clubs will be organized round in future which helps in character building, healthy competitions, sportsman spirit and civic amongst the students. Therefore, UGC Website, Clubs, Societies and publications will be important tool for branding, marketing and outreach in achieving academic excellence. Through regular seminars, workshops and inviting lectures UGC will be playing its role in awareness-raising and capacity building of students and public.
