Ход урока.

I. Начало урока. Рапорт дежурного.

T: Dear students! Today we shall prepare for an interesting and exiting traveling to a very large English-speaking country. Which country is this song from? Listen to the song and guess the name of this country. Why do we think so?

(Звучит песня “Yankee Doodle”

Yankee Doodle went to town,

A-riding on a pony;

Stuck a feather in his hat

And called it macaroni.

Yankee Doodle, keep it up,

Yankee Doodle dandy;

Mind the music and the step

And with the girls be handy.

Yes, it is an old American song. It is now the national anthem of the American state Connecticut.

The topic of our lesson is: “Travelling to America”.

• …a way to visit places of interest and to feel greatness of monuments of the world history and art.

Tourism is very popular all over the world that is why people began to establish different companies for comfortable travelling.

Which ways of travelling do you prefer? Why? Use active words.
