1. Read the text , find the verbs in Past Simple, translate the text:

My exciting holiday

Last October I had a very exciting holiday.

I went to Japan for three weeks to stay with friends. I travelled by plane.

It was a long journey but fortunately my friends met me at the airport and drove me straight to their house near Tokyo. I stayed with my friends for the first week. In the second week I visited Tokyo and then in the third week I took the train to Kyoto where I saw some beautiful temples and gardens. I enjoyed the holiday very much indeed but I didn’t see Mount Fuji. Next time I want to climb it with my friends.
