Задание 2. Порядок выполнения задания. Прочитайте текст и опишите метод, как эффективно использовать время. Составьте свой список советов по управлению и распределению времени.

Read the text and describe the method of how to save time wisely. Make your list of effective time management.

Time management means scheduling activities from the most to least important in a way that fits your time frame. We are active, with many places to go and lots to do. If we learn to manage our time wisely, we will be able to do more things. Your time can be managed in a variety of ways. Many people make to-do lists.

However, this is not always enough for young people, because they tend to forget how much time they have and they delay doing something because they do not want to do it.

Many schools give students agendas to help them organize their homework, projects and other assignments. Students find these useful for keeping track of marks, homework and long – term assignments. For keeping track of your extra – curricular activities, such as sports and clubs, calendars have always been useful.

Time can be managed in a simple way. First, write down everything you have to complete within the day, week, month, etc. Then, record the due date for each and how long it will take to do. From there, put each item into a time slot so that everything is given the proper amount of time. By using this method, you can be organised and have plenty time to lead a stress – free, well – rounded life.

Ответы. My useful tips:

  • You should develop blocks of study time. More difficult material may require more frequent breaks.

  • Make a ‘To-Do’ list/ Write down things you have to do, then decide what to do at the moment, what to schedule for later, what to get someone else to do, and what to put off for a later time.

  • Create a long-term planner. Use a monthly chart so that you can plan ahead. Long-term planners will also serve as a reminder to constructively plan time for yourself.

  • Prioritise assignments. When studying, get in the habit of beginning with the most difficult subject or task.

  • Review your study materials immediately after classes. Your chance of forgetting is greatest within the first 24 hours after you receive the information.

  • Review all crucial study materials and readings just before class or an exam.
