Methodical recommendations: Preparation for performance of tasks should be began with studying of recommended literature. The main purpose of the theme is to learn essence and functions of money, quantitative theory of money, equation of an exchange of Fisher, monetary policy as set of the governmental activities regulating activity of credit and monetary system, functions of the National bank on development and realization of monetary policy. You shall understand regulation of official reserve requirements, operations in the open market, manipulation of discount rate of percent, types of monetary policy, essence and tools of stimulating monetary policy (policy of "cheap" money).
