13) Payment Gateways
The following third-party Payment Gateways are currently installed:
PayFlow Pro (replacement of Cybercash which is discontinued)
LinkPoint
PSI Gate (In question)
Echo
E-Select Plus
Authorize.net
CardService
CyberSource
E-Xact Transactions
goeMerchant.com
Intellipay
PayPal
Etc (Hint: Many Payment Gateways are listed in EasyStoreMaker Pro)
Other Payment Gateways may be installed at the discretion of the Hostopia.
P ayment Gateways have their modules installed on our system. If a Payment Gateway is malfunctioning, a consideration may be that the module has been upgraded by the Gateway provider but needs upgrading on our system. A ticket to Sys Admins with as much detail of the behavior/issue will assist Sys Admins in addressing the problem.
13) Ssl (Secure Socket Layer)
SSL for ASP or ColdFusion pages are managed identically to HTML pages on the hybrid.
Each server in the Hybrid farm is configured to handle SSL connections from domains within our infrastructure.

A) Security Certificates
Secure Sockets Layer
Any and all data sent to or from the server is encrypted. Nothing is sent plain text.
Used most often to secure a web server, can also be used to secure an internal network.
Requires that the address entered into the browser be https://domain.tld, the "s" signifies secure, this address can be redirected to or linked to.
CSR's are certificate requests; these must be done by the administrator of the website or network.
SSL certificates must also be renewed every year.
During a migration, existing SSLs on the legacy server are usually not transferred over, a certificate is purchased for the customer to be used on our platform. However to facilitate a quick migration a generic SSL may be is used and the private SSL is purchased at a later time; this may change for future migrations. Often times customers will insist on using their current one, however that SSL was intended for that specific domain and assigned to the legacy server. As a result transferring an existing SSL is more difficult to do.
B) Common Issues with Installing a Custom ssl Certificate.
Admins reports back through the ticket that the customer uploaded their CSR. This means that they uploaded the CSR and not the actual certificate, contact customer asking him to upload the certificate to their private directory in a .txt file and re-submit the ticket to have the admins install the certificate.
Customer has generated multiple CSR's or has corrupted their CSR. Send the ticket to the Sys Admins to have them reset the SSL Manager so that the customer can go through the steps again and generate the proper CSR.
