Part 1. Formal letter writing and your individual writing work Unit 1. How to organize your Individual writing work
This part is devoted to the analysis and development of your individual learner skills, that are important not only for your work at writing but in general at a foreign language. We`re going to develop special learner skills and work out different strategies necessary for developing and mastering your writin competence.
Task 1. Individual writing work: assess your language level in writing
1.1. Before you start your individual writing work, find out what your language level in writing is. Use the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment, abbreviated as CEFR. It`s a guideline used to describe achievements of learners of foreign languages across Europe and, increasingly, in other countries1. Assess your own language proficiency level in writing according to the six reference levels that are given below
