Scandinavia:

Low Countries, Germany, Austria, Switzerland:

The Low Countries and northern Germany will become mostly dry with some pleasant sunshine. Elsewhere, sunny spells will soon trigger some heavy showers and thunderstorms once again. Light north-westerly winds. High 22-25C.

France:

Apart from a scattering of heavy showers in eastern parts during the morning, it will be mostly dry with some warm sunshine. The best of the sunshine will be in western parts. Moderate northerly winds in the east, lighter elsewhere. High 23-26C.

Spain and Portugal:

Much of Spain and Portugal will have a dry morning with blue skies and unbroken sunshine. Some patchy cloud will develop during the afternoon, especially in northern parts. Becoming very warm once again, with light and variable winds. High 33-36C.

Italy:

Eastern parts will continue to have showers, some heavy with scattered thunderstorms. Parts of the north-east may even have a spell of more persistent rain. Mostly dry with some warm sunshine elsewhere. Light winds. High 23-26C.

Greece:

Northern parts of the mainland will have scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms after a mostly sunny morning. Elsewhere will be largely dry with plenty of warm sunny spells. Light northerly winds. High 23-26C.
