- Plant and grow trees and flowers.

- Don’t pick wild flowers.

- Don’t burn fires.

- Clean the water.

- Don’t dump industrial and nuclear waste into the water.

- Don’t turn our planet into dump!

Vocabulary

• Pollution – the contamination of the environment by substances harmful to living creations (забруднення).

• Recycle [ri ΄saikl]– make new things from different kinds of litter (переробляти).

• Litter (папери), trash, rubbish, garbage (сміття, непотріб), waste (відходи) – things that you throw away, such as empty bottles, used papers, food that has gone bad etc.

• Rainforest – rich woodland which occurs in warm climate and high rainfalls regions (тропічний ліс).

• Destroy - to damage something so badly that it no longer exists or cannot be used or repaired (розрушати).

• Poacher – a man who kills animals illegally (браконьєр).

• Arson - the crime of deliberately making something burn (підпал).

• Distress - a situation when smth is in danger and needs help

(нещастя, біда).

• Deforestation - the cutting or burning down of all the trees in an area

(вирубування лісів).
