Task 25: Translate and render the text in English.

Система транспортирования обеспечивает любые перевозки – начиная с небольших грузов и заканчивая крупными, например, целыми железнодорожными составами или баржами. Крупные перевозчики обрабатывают большое количество сыпучих и наливных грузов.

Существует пять видов транспорта: автомобильный, железнодорожный, воздушный, водный и трубопроводный. Если для перевозки задействовано два или больше вида транспорта для реализации преимуществ каждого вида транспорта, то ее называют смешанной транспортировкой. Смешанная транспортировка рассматривается применительно к перевозкам в контейнерах, которые можно перемещать с транспортного средства одного вида на транспортное средство другого.

Транспортировка считается кардинальной в последовательности операций любой логистической системы по следующим причинам.

1. Величина транспортных издержек непосредственно зависит от месторасположения заводов фирмы, товарных складов, поставщиков и потребителей.

2. Вид используемого транспорта оказывает влияние на размеры товарно-материальных запасов. Высокоскоростные дорогие транспортные средства требуют меньшего количества товарно-материальных запасов возле месторасположения потребителя.

3. Выбранный вид транспорта определяет требования к таре, а класс груза диктует выбор способа упаковки.

4. Выбранные грузовые транспортные средства определяют вид погрузочно-разгрузочного оборудования, а также тип и обустройство погрузочно-разгрузочных площадок и эстакад.

5. Максимально возможная консолидация грузов для общих пунктов доставки позволяет компании выделять больше груза своим перевозчикам и выигрывать на скидках за крупные перевозки грузов.

6. Выбор поставщиком грузового перевозчика определяется целями обслуживания истребителей.

Стремясь к полной интеграции, менеджеры цепи поставок часто прибегают к системам слежения (трекинга) за каждым грузом, чтобы в любой момент времени определить его географическое положение. Поэтому их собственное оборудование или оборудование, предоставляемое грузовыми перевозчиками, теперь часто оснащается устройствами слежения.

Устройства слежения связаны через искусственные спутники Земли с глобальной системой слежения. Диспетчеры автопарков, которые занимаются местными поставками и сбором товаров, при получении заказа по телефону, могут использовать такую спутниковую систему слежения для определения места нахождения грузовиков, находящихся в рейсе, чтобы поручить водителю «захватить» попутный груз.

В настоящее время уже принято считать, что грузовой перевозчик не только транспортирует товары, но также должен предоставлять клиентам информацию о местонахождении их товаров в географическом “канале”. Местонахождение груза в канале стало частью информации, которой обязательно должны владеть менеджеры.
