There are a number of expressions that can be used to introduce positive suggestions and warnings. Notice that they are followed by an -ing form or infinitive.

Task 18: With a partner discuss some “rules” using the phrases above. Choose from the following:

Task 19: Change the following sentences using expressions that introduce positive suggestions and warnings.

  1. Managers schedule time to organize their activities.

Task 20: Translate the text into English and render it.

Транспортирование — это перемещение товаров и людей между двумя пунктами. В отличие от других логистических операций, которые привязаны к определенному месторасположению, транспортирование не привязано к какому-либо географическому пункту. Одно время логистические системы рассматривали как пункты хранения товарно-материальных запасов (узлы), связанные транспортными перевозчиками (звеньями). Товары, находящиеся в процессе перевозки между двумя узлами, почти всегда были в неопределенном, “подвешенном” состоянии. В пункте отправки регистрировали их вывоз и удаляли их из записей по хранению. И только по прибытии на место назначения, после разгрузки, их вносили в реестр товарно-материальных запасов нового пункта хранения. В настоящее время ведется более тщательный учет находящихся в движении товарно-материальных запасов, а грузовые перевозчики настолько дисциплинированы, что находящиеся в пути товары при необходимости всегда можно найти.
