Заняття 34

Тема: Туристичний інформаційний центр. Рекомендації турагента клієнтам.

Вид заняття: лекція-семінар

Мета: Відпрацювати лексико-граматичний та фактичний матеріал заняття за темою «Організація конференцій – питання, яі ви маєте вирішити, щоб задовольнити потреби ваших клієнтів». Розвивати навички монологічного, діалогічного та писемного мовлення. Ознайомити студентів із рекомендаціями, яких слід дотримуватися працівникам готелю з тією метою, щоб гості готелю залишалися їх постійними клієнтами.

Обладнання: дошка, словники, підручники, роздатковий матеріал.

Література: л.2 стор.61-63, 112,115, 72. Tourism1-стор.82

Хід заняття:

1.Вступ. Організаційний момент. Повідомлення теми та мети заняття. Введення в іншомовне середовище. Відпрацювання вимови окремих слів: lounge, language, experience, aptitude, dishwashers, incur charges, chambermaid, semiskilled, upholster, plumber, eliminate, technique, apprentice, intricacy, distinctive feature, division, majority.

Dear students! Today we’ll learn the recommendations of obtaining customer loyalty. We’ll also make special exercises and try to find pros and cons of the Magyar Hotel and the Casablanca Hotel for arranging of the conventions.

2. Перевірка домашнього завдання:

Further to our telephone conversation of 19th April I am pleased to confirm the following details regarding our plans for a 5-day convention on 4-9 September.

Our requirements are:

  • accommodation for 250 delegates (some with partners)

  • space for at least 30 exhibitors (publishers, bookshops etc.)

  • an opening dinner for up to 400 people

  • a big enough room for the plenary sessions

  • a large number of smaller rooms for seminars and workshops
