1. При этом “ much/many”употребляются в основном в вопросительных и отрицательных предложениях, тогда как “ a lot/ lots of/ plenty of”употребляются в утвердительных предложениях.

Ex.: I haven’t got much money but have a lot of friends.

2. Much и little также являются наречиями, со значениями: много - хорошо, мало - плохо.

Ex. I know so little about you! I work so much!

3. Не путайте “few” ( мало) и “a few” (несколько), “little”(мало) и “a little” (немного, немножко). По значению они близки к “some”. Сравните:

Ex.: 1.This plant needs little water. (Этому растению нужно мало воды.)

Do you have any water left? Give me a little. (У вас осталась вода? Дайте мне немного.)

2. I have few friends but I can always rely on them. (У меня мало друзей, но я могу на них положиться.)

To cook this soup I need a few carrots, a few potatoes and some meat. (Чтобы приготовить этот суп мне нужно несколько морковок, несколько картофелин и мясо.)

2) Дайте рецепт своего любимого блюда. (используйте глаголы: take, add, mix with, cool, heat, fry, boil, grate, melt.)
