Ex.: Willy – In early spring I like see the stars, to hear the birds sing, to see the clouds fly, so elegant, so quick … So, I’m sleeping on the balcony this week! (Я люблю слушать, как поют птицы, смотреть, как пролетают облака…)

Susan - I see a woman standing by the door. (Я вижу, как женщина стоит у двери.)

Tom - I see a boy running and I see nothing more. (Я вижу, как бежит мальчик, и больше ничего.)

2. Обратите внимание на разницу в переводе.

1. I saw a boy running across the street. – Я видел, как мальчик бежал через улицу.

I saw a boy run across the street. – Я видел, как мальчик перебежал улицу.

2. I heard her telling about the accident. – Я слышал, как она рассказывала об этом несчастном случае.

I heard her tell about the accident. – Я слышал, как она сказала об этом несчастном случае.

Step 2. The Imperative (Повелительное наклонение) = the infinitive without “to”

1. Прочитайте правило.

a) Повелительное наклонение = неопределенная форма глагола без частицы ‘to’ .

Ex.: I’m fat! – Stop eating fast food!

I’m poor! – Find a well-paid job.

For the negative form use “don’t”.

b) Для отрицательной формы используйте “don’t”.

Ex.: I’m sleepy in the morning. – Don’t stay up late!

I’m overweight! – Don’t eat dinner!
