Novel «Eye Of The Abyss» is like a detective, although in this work, according to V. Baldynyuk, "discovers its other side as an archaic literary form- lives of the saints.

Main Character of this novel — literary writer and calligrapher Мyhailo Vasylevych — creator of the famous Peresopnytskogo Yevangelia. In the search for the lost creative energy, he survives the experiences of unexpected adventures that will definitely get the readers attention. “Eye of the Abyss” – an amazing novel about belief and crime, with an atmosphere. Main Character – the monk Myhailo Vasylevych, creator of Persopnytskogo Yevangalia, where leaves together with two other monks in Polis'ki swamp. He goes to Mykyta Stovpnyk, who is called a saint. Myhailo hopes to uncover his life-long and creative crises, but ends up in a complicated detective story.
