CONVERSATIONAL TOPIC: ASKING THE WAY. SIGHTSEEING

1. The topical vocabulary.

THE UNDERGROUND. How can I get to the nearest underground (tube) station? Where's the entrance to the underground? Where's the booking office? You needn't queue up at the booking office. There are also slot-machines for tickets. On the London Underground the fare depends on the length of the journey. Bond Street. How much, please? How can I get to the Tower, please? Take the Central line and go as far as Liverpool Street, change there to the Circle Line and get off at Tower Hill. Take the escalator and follow the direction signs. They will take to the platform. Ask for a route map at the booking office. It will give you all the necessary information.
