3.1.2. The procedure of diagnostics

In order to get situational indexes of ah and fah you should:

3.1.2.1. Place all the buttons of switches 18 (see picture 1) in the switched-off (unpressed) position.

3.1.2.2. Check the state of skin on the palms of the examinee. If the skin is too wet – dry it with soft dry tissue (towel). If the skin is too dry – water it a little with a tissue wetted in water.

3.1.2.3. Press the right and left pairs of lamellar electrodes by the palms of both hands simultaneously, as it is shown in picture 1.1, appendix 1. Make sure that:

  • the disposition of palms is symmetric relative to the electrodes;

  • the electrodes are pressed to the convex parts of palms. In this case the bones which are situated under the basis of fingers on the backside of a palm will be placed above the middle of the upper lamellar electrode.

  • The springing of lamellar electrodes is overcome and they are tightly pressed.

3.1.2.4. In two-five seconds, i.e. the moment you get maximal indexes, make their counting due to the scale of right and left indicator correspondingly to within one point (half of one scale mark). Besides the left indicator reflects the activation of a left hemisphere and the right indicator – the activation of a right one.

Note. As it is known, the left hemisphere is interconnected with the right half of the body and the right hemisphere – with the left one. This has been taking into account in the scheme of the device: in order to simplify the perception of information the signals from right hand transfer to the left indicator and signals from left hand – to the right one.

3.1.2.5. Put down the indexes of activation of right and left hemispheres into columns 4 and 5 of table 7.

If the arrow of the indicator deviates to the right beyond the last scale division, it is necessary to loosen the level of a signal 3 times by way of pressing the button of attenuator (divider) 1 3. If the deviation is still going on, you should wring out the button 1 3 and press the button 1 6. In this case the signal will loosen 6 times.

Make the counting of divisions having multiplied their value to the coefficient of loosening the signal (to 3 or to 6) and put down the final result into table 7. Then switch off the signal divider.

3.1.2.6. In order to receive an accelerated absolute index of left-side displacement of FAH press the button 3, and if you want to receive an accelerated absolute index of right-side displacement of FAH press the button 6. However it is also possible to do without it: you may calculate the absolute index of displacement of FAH as a difference between the indexes of columns 4 and 5.

3.1.2.7. Put down the quantity of FAH displacement into column 6 or 7 of table 7 accordingly.

3.1.2.8. Wring out all the buttons of the switch.

3.1.2.9. In order to receive individually typological characteristics of AH and FAH it is necessary to make ten measurements in background (typical for the examinee) states. Make two-three measurements a day. The procedure of each measurement corresponds to items 3.1.2.1 – 3.1.2.8 of the present paragraph.

3.1.2.10. In order to receive activity situational characteristics of AH and FAH it is necessary to make one measurement in the process of investigated activity.

3.1.2.11. In order to receive activity stereotyped characteristics of AH and FAH it is necessary to make ten measurements in the process of investigated activity. The procedure of each measurement corresponds to items 3.1.2.1 – 3.1.2.8 of the present paragraph.
