IV. Grammar Exercises
Past Participle has only one form which is passive in meaning. In most cases the action expressed by Participle II precedes that of the finite verb. I work at the chemist’s shop built 5 years ago. But Past Participle may express an action simultaneous with that expressed by the finite verb having no reference to any particular time. Antibiotics are a group of drugs used to treat various infections caused by bacteria. |
