Bisacodyl – a white crystalline laxative C22H19NO4 administered orally or as a suppository.
Promethazine – a synthetic antihistamine drug C17H20N2S·HCl derived from phenothiazine, used chiefly to treat the symptoms of allergies and to prevent vomiting, especially in motion sickness.
Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) – a synthetic white crystalline compound CH3COOC6H4COOH widely used in the form of tablets to relieve mild or chronic pain, reduce fever and inflammation, and to prevent strokes.
Acetaminophen (paracetamol) – an analgesic drug C8H9NO2 used to treat headaches, arthritis, etc., and also to reduce fever, often as an alternative to aspirin.
Diclofenac (Voltaren) – a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug used in the form of its sodium salt C14H10Cl2NNaO2 or potassium salt C14H10Cl2KNaO2 especially to treat the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
Eucalyptol – a colourless oily liquid C10H18O with a camphor-like odour and a spicy taste; it is obtained from eucalyptus oil and used in perfumery and as a flavouring.

упозиторії – це дозовані лікарські препарати, тверді при кімнатній температурі, які розплавляються або розчиняються при температурі тіла, призначені для введення в порожнини тіла.
Існують наступні форми супозиторіїв: а) ректальні: 1 – циліндр (cylinder) із загостреним кінцем, 2 – конус (cone), 3 – торпеда (torpedo); б) вагінальні: 1 – кульки (globule); 2 – овулі, 3 – песарії; в) палички (bacillus).
Максимальний діаметр ректальних супозиторіїв складає 1,5 см. Маса одного супозиторія повинна бути в межах від 1 до 4 г. Маса супозиторіїв у дітей повинна бути від 0,5 до 1,5 г.
У якості ліпофільних основ для виготовлення супозиторіїв використовують масло какао, рослинні та тваринні гідрогенізовані жири та різноманітні сплави, що дозволені для медичного використання.
Метод виготовлення супозиторіїв складається з наступних стадій: приготування основи, введення в основу лікарських речовин, формування та упаковка свічок.
Зазвичай супозиторії зберігають у прохолодному місці.
Супозиторії з олією обліпихи (sea buckthorn) призначають при хронічних захворюваннях прямої кишки, геморої та колітах.
