Part 1.
We’ll start by talking about yourselves.
What sort of jobs would you be willing to do in your holidays?
Do you think earning a lot of money is more important than the job?
Would you like to do one or many different jobs in the future?
Do you think work is more important than leisure? Why (not)?
Part 2.
These two pictures show different jobs. Compare and contrast these pictures. Say what is common and different between them. Would you choose to be a police officer or a businessperson? What is more important to you fame or money?
You will have 1 minute to think about what you are going to say.
Part 3.
Imagine you and your friend are looking for a job for the summer.
Decide which job you can apply for. Choose from:
a tour guide in your home town
a children’s leader at a summer camp
a shop assistant
a promoter
Together discuss positive and negative sides of EACH option and choose ONE. Give your reasons.
