8. Look at the pictures below. You are the new headteacher of the school where educational standards are low. Discuss the problems in the school and make suggestions to improve the situation.

9. Discuss in pair topics related to the theme.

  • What subjects do you think are most important for students to learn and why?

  • How is education important in a person’s career?

  • Should teachers be paid more? Do you think this would improve education?
