Text: Mr. Shaw’s flat
Mr. Shaw is a manager in a big firm. He lives in a new block of flats. There is a nice garden behind it and a small parking lot for private cars.
Mr. Shaw’s flat is on the third floor. It’s large and very comfortable.
It is a three-room flat: there is a living-room with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen.
The living-room is light and spacious, because there is a big window in it. The ceiling and the walls are white, and the floor is brown. There is a carpet on the floor.
In the middle of the room there is a square table. There is a vase with flowers on it. In the corner of the room there is an arm-chair and a standard lamp. To the left there is a sofa. The furniture is dark-brown. At the opposite wall, there is a TV-set. Next to it there is a book-case. Mr. Shaw is in the living-room now. He’s sitting on the sofa and is watching TV.
Mr. Shaw has got a wife and a son, so one of the bedrooms is theirs and the other one is his son’s. Mr. Shaw’s bedroom is large, but there aren’t many things in it: two beds, a dressing-table and a wardrobe.
His son’s room is large too. There are also few pieces of furniture in it: a bed, a desk with a computer and two chairs. His books are on the shelves.
Mr. Shaw’s son is in his bedroom now. He is playing a computer game.
