Резюме главы
Описанные в данной главе модели интервенции являются составной частью особого направления в семейной терапии, возникшего на гребне событий эпохи постмодерна. Высокий темп жизни в сочетании с мощным потоком новой информации ставит индивида и семью перед необходимостью прилагать значительные усилия, чтобы понять происходящее в мире. В отсутствие небольших, компактно проживающих сообществ, которые в прошлом формировали мировоззрение и систему ценностей, семьи вынуждены сами конструировать собственную реальность (то есть составлять представление о ней). Современные терапевты не всегда уверены в том, что их собственных «знаний», которые они несут клиенту, вполне достаточно для характеристики его реальности. В связи с тем, что реальность каждого индивида уникальна, многие терапевты постепенно склоняются к использованию подходов, основанных на реконструкции представлений отдельных индивидов и целых семей о социальной реальности.
Независимо от того, чем конкретно занимаются терапевты-сторонники нового подхода, ищут ли решения, исключения из правил, выявляют ли события, не укладывающиеся в рамки прежних представлений клиента о собственной жизни, или же занимаются психологическим просвещением для расширения адаптивных возможностей клиента, – в любом случае создаваемые ими модели терапии менее директивны и вызывают меньшее сопротивление клиентов. Кроме того, новые модели, благодаря созданию атмосферы поддержки, зачастую позволяют достичь поставленной цели гораздо быстрее по сравнению с традиционными подходами.
