Answer to task two:
The election of President of the United States
took place on 4 November 2008. Barack Obama
managed to win the hearts of voters in
many crucial states and as a result he was
encouraged by more than 330 electors, while
for a victory 270
electors were enough. Obama
expressed respect to his competitor John
McCain on the
election race and promised to collaborate with the republican during
his presidential term.
In
comparison with McCain he was characterized as a more contemporary
politician not only in terms of personal age of the expectant, but
with the history of democratic party. Obama claimed that he will
overcome the economic crisis and that the old thinking leads to the
problems. He promised to carry out reforms that’s why he was
elected.
But what was happening in
the reality? Economical increase is low. Economical situation reached
the status of stagnancy. Egress from the crisis is slow. The debt of
the USA is comparable with the gross domestic product of America.
Obama wants to greaten the debt raising taxes on reach people.
Unfortunately, there is no significant success in domestic and
foreign policy. In his recent interview, Barack Obama confessed that
he apprehends a failure in elections in 2012.
