Vessels approaching the eastern channel should steer to pass about 2 cables westward of the charted position of spar buoy about 1^1/2 miles south-westward of GODDE and thence follow the track indicated by the pecked lines on the chart, being guided by the buoys on either side; this channel joins the western channel about 7 cables westward of Aspan front leading light structure whence the directions given for that channel should be followed.
