My first visit to the hospital.

This hospital is new and modern. It is six-storeyed and nice building. It is well-

planned and comfortable. It has all the modern conveniences. In front of the hospital

there is a park. One can see many trees and a lot of flowers here.

Let’s enter the hospital. There are many departments here.

There is a therapeutic department on the ground floor. One can see a surgical de

partment on the first floor. Others are on the top floors.

On each floor there are many wards, a consulting room, a nurses’ room. The

wards are large and small. In every ward there are some beds. On the beds one can

see pillows, blankets and sheets. There is a bed-side table near every bad. Some

chairs are in the wards too.

My first visit to the laboratory.

This building is multistory and well-planned. There are some laboratories here

with all the modern conveniences and facilities: a fuming room, a distilator, a

colorimeter, a mixer, a drying chamber, a thermostat, a centrifuge and a refrigerator.

There is a bacteriological laboratory on the ground floor. One can see a

biochemical laboratory on the first floor. Others are on the top floors.

Let’s enter a clinicodiagnostic laboratory. There are some rooms for the

laboratory personnel: a doctor – lab assistant’s room, a lab assistants room, a lab

technician’s room. In the lab assistant’s room one can see many things for different

laboratory investigations: an automatic tester of blood( technicon ), analytical

scales, a water-bath, a microscope slide, a cover – slip, some test – tubes, an ansa

loop, a flexible probe, a lot of reagents, crucibles, Petri dish, a gas – burner, a blood

lancet, some flasks, litmus paper, a graduated glass, a spatula, a plane – table, a pear

of water, an arrow shaped blade and blotting paper. Some desks and chairs are in

the room too.
