1. Law Faculty

The Orenburg State University has a tradition of teaching and research in the field of law. Law Faculty was founded in 1995. At present it has got 2 departments: day-time and extramural training more than 1000 students.

The Law Faculty academic staff teach and research across a broad range of subjects: Civil Law, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, International Law, Financial Law, Administrative Law, etc.

The students have an opportunity to explore a range of subjects. Teaching is organized on a modular basis. There are two seventeen – week semesters in an academic year. Examinations are held at the end of each semester. Students must complete a course with passing state exams and defending a graduation thesis. The course of studies lasts 5 years. There is a wide selection of options, including: Administrative Law, Commercial Law, Consumer Law, Criminology, Environmental Law, Family Law, Employment Law, International Law, etc.

2. London

London, one of the world's biggest cities, situated on the River Thames is the capital of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the seat of the Government, a great industrial and cultural centre and one of the Britain's most important ports.

Greater London has a population of nearly 8 million and an area of 620 square miles. London is divided into 3 parts: the City, the West End and the East End.

The City of London is the business center. It contains the Bank of England, big banks and business offices.

In the West End the richer people live. Here we find most of the big shops, restaurants, museums, art galleries, theatres and concert halls. The East End includes the poorer districts, the industrial centre and London docks.

London is a great center of transport. Industry is also an important part of capital's life. It is the centre of many modern British industries, its workers produce clothes, boots, shoes and many other goods.

  1. Moscow

Moscow is a political and cultural centre of Russia. It is the Seat of the Government. Moscow was founded in 1147 by Prince Yuri Dolgoruky.

Moscow is an industrial and business giant. Its plants and factories manufacture the most diverse items. Moscow has more than 80 higher educational establishments. The largest of them is the State University.

Men whose names are hallmarks of genius - Andrey Rublev, Alexander Pushkin, Leo Tolstoi, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Anton Chechov, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Fyodor Shalyapin and many others lived and worked in Moscow.

There are over 100 cinema-theatres, 40 theatres and concert halls in Moscow. Moscow saw the 22-d Olympic Games.

There are 150 museums and exhibition halls in Moscow. Moscow fine arts museums contain the finest examples of Russian and European pictorial art.

The Moscow Kremlin is our country's greatest historical monument. On the Kremlin grounds there are old magnificent palaces, cathedrals, churches and belfries. The unique Kremlin museums - the Patriarch's Chambers, the Armoury Chamber, the Diamond Fund Exhibition contain masterpieces of pictorial and decorative art. The Kremlin is inseparably linked with Red Square. Red Square is the oldest, the largest and the most famous square in Moscow. The Lobnoe Mesto, the church of St.Basil, the monument to Minin and Pozharsky are recognizable signs of Red Square.
