Our company is interested in buying pumps for a new shop. We require the goods urgently. Last week I got instructions to buy pumps from Bond & Co, a leading manufacturer of pumps. When I arrived in London I contacted Mr. Stanley, the Manager of the company. I wanted to place an order for 150 pumps with this company. But Bond & Co were heavy with orders at that moment and could offer us only 50 pumps for immediate shipment. As for the balance of 100 pumps, the company could ship them in four lots of 25 pumps each at regular intervals within eight months. Bond & Co could provide shipping facilities and sold the goods on CIF terms. We accepted their terms of shipment and delivery.
