1. Labor law regulates labor relations between an employer and an employee concerning fulfillment of a certain work, as a rule on the base of a labor individual or collective contract made between both sides.

2. Task for IWS1: Study an appropriate article of the RK Labour Code and write out employee’s main rights and obligations.

3. Task for IWS2: Study an appropriate article of the RK Labour Code and write out employer’s main rights and obligations.

7. Principles of the law of social security:

• social justice (it corresponds to the concept of the social state – Comment; support of the deserving life standard, correspondence between consequences of unfavorable life circumstances and level of social security)

• legality (exact and complete execution of the law by state bodies, non-governmental organizations, individuals, unity and leadership of the law)

• humanism (recognition of the human right to development, provision of deserving life standard in case of disability, old age etc.)

• equality of citizens and organizations before law and court (equal rights and obligations for citizens and organizations; no matter what form (?) of a legal entity or its location – equal requirements and rights)

• democracy (not only declaration of human rights and freedoms but their guarantee as well, rights of workers are realized through trade unions) Glossary:
