Injuries and treatment
Usually people get injuries (damages to body) in some accident (unforeseen misfortune). If a person cuts their finger, for example, it will usually be bleeding. A good solution in this case will be plaster (adhesive strip to dress the cut). In case a cut is bad, and is bleeding a lot, one should dress it with a bandage (bind it with a piece of material). When people fall down, it's very common that they twist (force out of the natural position) their ankle or break arms or legs. In both cases it is necessary to call the doctor who will case the limb in plaster (a mixture of lime, sand and water, which hardens when dry), though if the twist is not bad, some rest will be enough. When a person hits their head in an accident, it’s quite common that they get a concussion (a jarring of the brain), then the person could feel dizzy or even lose consciousness. The best solution in this case is to call an ambulance. If people deal with hot objects, they could easily burn themselves. The burn could be very painful, and in this case, one should consult the doctor and use burn ointment (special cream).

Industrial accidents
When an industrial accident happens some workers could be injured. In this case first aid should be given to the casualties and an ambulance summoned. Very often there should be some witnesses of the accident. They will be helpful when an accident report form is filled in. This shows all the details of the accident such as time, location, the number of casualties, the description of what has happened, etc., as well as the details of the injures person.
