1.Janis and Hart have proposed a number of ways to prevent Groupthink. Provide at least one additional ways to avoid groupthink. Be specic and provide examples.

To avoid groupthink, you can:

  1. Reframe disagreement as a necessary, helpful characteristic of great teams.

  2. It may be a relief if a decision is reached quickly, but don’t embrace it too quickly. Was there real debate? Did everyone offer an opinion, or did a few influencers appear to lead the group decision? If a leader believes there wasn’t enough debate, delay a decision and ask that more research be done.

Remember that while collaboration is highly promoted in workplaces today, sometimes leaders need to back off so that it doesn’t lead to groupthink and less-creative ideas.

2.How widespread is Groupthink? Do you believe society is aware of the problem? Discuss your response using examples.

I think that groupthink is quite common around the world, because we very often since school performing different tasks are divided into groups and and we hesitate to voice our displeasure in the group. Yes, I think that this is a problem. A similar phenomenon can be observed in the downed teams of marketing, where decisions are made collectively, when the wise experts do stupid things, which obvious student.

3.Provide the definition for the organizational culture.

Organizational culture encompasses values and behaviours that "contribute to the unique social and psychological environment of an organization. Organizational culture represents the collective values, beliefs and principles of organizational members and is a product of such factors as history, product, market, technology, strategy, type of employees, management style, and national culture; culture includes the organization's vision, values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, beliefs, and habits.

4.Consider some of the organizations to which you belong. Give an example of the cultural performances that you have either observed or shared.

I’m belong to university and my job. University helps to get structured, develop, and perform

5.How can Organizational Culture Theory help you?

It helps to understand that it is always necessary to express their own opinion. Remember that in a dispute born truth.
