Marble for the construction of the mausoleum was brought over 300 kilometers of unique Radzhputanskoy quarry. In the construction of the Taj Mahal was attended by over 20,000 artists from Persia and the Middle East.

In the city to the north of the central pyramid is "Sacred Cenote" or, as it is called, "The Dead Pit" with a diameter of 60 m and a depth of 50 m.
