Improving Performance Using the Profiler
The MATLAB Profiler helps you
improve the performance of your M-files. Run a MATLAB statement or an
M-file in the Profiler and it produces a report of where the time is
being spent. Access the Profiler from the Desktop menu, or use the
profile function.
Profiler for Improving
Performance
One way to improve the
performance of your M-files is using profiling tools. MATLAB provides
the M-file Profiler a graphical user interface that is based on the
results returned by the grcf-ie function. Use the Profiler to help
you determine where you can modify your code to make performance
improvements.
Conclusion
On this laboratory work we
studied the MATLAB Desktop Tools and Development Environment. We
understood how to:
Use start button for easy
access to tools, demos, and documentation for all your MathWorks
products.
Work with desktop, using tab
“Desktop” or simply drag and drop windows in preferred area.
Use the main desktop windows
for commands and history.
Use the help and its other
forms, such as official web sites, reporting, product information
etc.
