ПЕРЕДМОВА
Методичний посібник, що вам пропонується, присвячено одному з найскладніших граматичних явищ англійської мови – категорії умовного способу дієслова. Саме вживання умовного способу викликає труднощі в мовленні учнів старших класів і студентів університетів. Метою посібника є надання систематизованого комплекса вправ на аналіз, переклад і використання конструкцій умовного способу у сучасній англійській мові та інтерактивних завдань, націлених на закріплення використання цих конструкцій у різноманітних мовленнєвих ситуаціях.
Більшість вправ забезпечені ключами, які, як правило містять однозначні відповіді, але у випадку рівноправного співіснування є можливим використання декількох граматичних варіантів.
Посібник адресований викладачам і студентам факультетів іноземної філології та філологічних факультетів університетів (очного й заочного відділень), вчителям і учням спеціалізованих шкіл і всім, хто вивчає англійську мову чи працює з нею.
I. The Introduction to the Category of Mood
Task 1. Define the type of mood (Indicative, Imperative, Oblique) in the following sentences:
1. You look as if you were unwell.

Task 2. Translate the sentences paying special attention to the constructions of the Oblique moods. Keep in mind that they express an action considered unreal, desirable, hypothetically possible, problematic, etc.
