Тема 2.2. Основная проблематика специальности «Социальная работа».

Продолжительность занятия: 2 часа.

Цель: Овладеть активной лексикой и основными лексико-грамматическими конструкциями, необходимыми и достаточными для построения монологических и диалогических высказываний.

Задачи:

1. ознакомить с активной лексикой и тренировать ее

2. тренировать грамматические модели

3. тренировка навыков изучающего и информативного чтения, устного высказывания

Этапы занятий и рекомендуемая продолжительность тренировки видов речевой деятельности:

1. Проверка домашнего задания. Направлено на формирование компетенции (20 мин).

2. Работа над грамматическим материалом: повторение и закрепление употребления Passive Voice (Perfect Tenses). Направлена на развитие компетенции (20 мин).

Passive Voice (Perfect Tenses)

В страдательном залоге (Passives) времена группы Perfect сохраняют свои значения, то есть соотнесенность с ситуациями определенных типов, но указывают на то, что подлежащее предложения называет объект, а не субъект действия.

Для построения предложения в страдательном залоге во временах этой группы используется глагол to have (в соответствующей временной форме) + Particple II. Рассмотрим следующие примеры:

Present Perfect Passive: Ten patients have been attended to this morning.

Past Perfect Passive: The CT films had been sent before the operation started.

Future Perfect Passive: All the patients will have been examined by 9.

Task 1. Change the sentences from active to passive.

1. Work carried out in the USA has influenced the development of the serum. 2. They have conducted numerous clinical trials for the assessment of the effectiveness of enamel matrix derivatives regarding their ability to improve periodontal health. 3. The lab had found traces of the drug in the blood sample. 4. His doctor has banned him from drinking alcohol. 5. They have just discharged this patient. 6. They have arranged follow-up home nursing care for him 7. In the last three decades, the researchers have placed increasing efforts on seeking procedures and materials to promote the regeneration of periodontal tissue. 8. They have selected 3 clinics for the study. 9. Many researchers have observed multiple myocardial bridges occurring in the heart in a number of studies. 10. They have made strenuous efforts to inhibit the stress responses to surgery and evaluate the outcome. 11. They have studied the use of the transverse incision for laparotomy less widely. 12. Once a surgeon has chosen a suitable material, he must employ an appropriate surgical technique to achieve satisfactory fascial closure. 13. The doctor has just made a presumptive diagnosis of angina pectoris. 14. Using ultrasonography, gynecologists have made an intrauterine diagnosis of acardiac twins between 17 and 18 weeks of gestation. 15. While the researchers have gained substantial knowledge on the effects of exposure to environmental agents on children’s health, much remains to be learned. 16. Today the surgeon has operated on two patients for hernia of intervertebral disks in the lumbar region.
